Parking

Is there parking at YHU Airport?
Yes. MET offers several parking areas suited to short, medium, and long-term needs, with approximately 2,600 spaces available.
What are the parking rates at MET?
MET offers three parking areas:
Express: $4.50 / 30 min, $9 / hour, maximum $54 per 24 hours. Ideal for short stays and immediate access.
Comfort: $6 / hour, maximum $35 per 24 hours. Ideal for medium-length stays and good proximity to the terminal.
Economy: $4 / hour, maximum $24 per 24 hours. Ideal for long-term stays, with shuttle service available to the terminal.
How does the daily parking rate work?
The hourly rate applies only during the first 24 hours. Once the maximum rate for the area is reached, the fixed daily rate applies for each additional 24-hour period.
Which parking area should I choose to drop off or pick up a passenger?
For a quick stop, the Express area is the most convenient, as it is designed for short stays and offers immediate access to the terminal.
Which parking area should I choose for a trip of several days?
For a multi-day stay, the Economy area is generally the most cost-effective option, thanks to its maximum daily rate of $24 per 24 hours and its shuttle service to the terminal.
How far are the parking areas from the terminal?
P1 – Express parking is located in front of the terminal, approximately 25 metres from the entrance.
P2 – Comfort parking is approximately 150 metres away,
and P3 – Economy parking is approximately 350 metres from the terminal.

Transportation

Is there a shuttle to the terminal?
Yes. A shuttle is available to make it easier to access the terminal from the Economy parking area.
Can I get to MET by public transit?
Yes. The METbus, route 428, connects Terminal YHU directly to Longueuil metro station on the yellow line. The service is announced with a frequency of approximately 35 minutes.
Are rideshare services like Uber or Lyft available?
Yes. The terminal includes dedicated areas for pick-up and drop-off by rideshare services such as Uber and Lyft.
Are car rental services available at the terminal?
Yes. Car rental services are planned on site at the terminal, including Enterprise, National, and Alamo.

Accessibility

Is Terminal YHU accessible to people with reduced mobility?
Yes. The terminal is designed to be accessible, with elevators, priority lanes, accessible washrooms, adapted rest areas, and accessible service counters.
Is Terminal YHU suitable for families with strollers?
Yes. Thanks to its modern spaces, elevators, and simplified passenger journey, the terminal is designed to make travel easier for families with strollers, luggage, or young children.
Are there accessible rest areas in the terminal?
Yes. Adapted rest areas are planned to provide greater comfort for passengers who need a break during their time at the terminal.

What services are available at Terminal YHU?
Terminal YHU offers several services designed to make the passenger journey easier, including check-in counters, self-service kiosks, waiting areas, food services, accessible washrooms, and ground transportation services.
Will there be lounges or VIP lounges at Terminal YHU?
Lounges are part of our vision to offer a first-class customer experience. Spaces have already been planned, and the service will be rolled out based on traveler demand.
What restaurants are available at YHU Airport?
Terminal YHU will notably include Bâton Rouge Grillhouse & Bar, a well-known brand recognized for its grilled dishes, ribs, steaks, and seafood, as well as Café Dépôt, a convenient option for coffee, breakfast, pastries, or a light meal.
Are there self-service kiosks for check-in?
Yes. The terminal includes self-service kiosks to make passenger check-in easier and create a faster, more independent journey.

Terminal infrastructure

Is Terminal YHU a new terminal?
Yes. Terminal YHU is a new, modern passenger terminal located at MET – Montréal Metropolitan Airport, in Saint-Hubert. Its official opening is scheduled for June 15, 2026.
What is the capacity of Terminal YHU?
Terminal YHU is designed to welcome up to 4 million passengers per year, with an average capacity of approximately 10,000 passengers per day and more than 15,000 passengers per day during peak periods.
How many boarding gates does Terminal YHU have?
Terminal YHU has 9 modern boarding gates, designed to optimize passenger flow and provide a smooth and comfortable boarding experience.
Is the terminal protected from bad weather?
Yes. The boarding gates are designed to offer a weather-protected experience, improving traveler comfort during boarding.
Is Terminal YHU designed for a fast passenger journey?
Yes. The terminal was designed to provide a smooth, efficient, and friendly experience, from arrival on site to boarding.
What infrastructure supports YHU Airport operations?
The project includes several essential infrastructure components, including a de-icing centre, Jet A-1 fuel storage facilities, service buildings, catering facilities, and other ground equipment.
Is Terminal YHU designed for domestic flights?
Yes. The terminal is designed to support an initial operation focused on domestic flights, with routes to destinations across Canada.
Does MET help improve Greater Montréal’s connectivity?
Yes. MET is presented as a new gateway to destinations across Canada and as an important infrastructure project to strengthen Greater Montréal’s regional and national connectivity.
